The unfamiliar becomes familiar. Ancestry’s newest production, unFamiliar, builds its visual language around its existing catalog of shows. Inspired by the lush greens of nature paired with an electrifying yellow, unFamiliar embraces modernity with a true-to-brand approach.

Google
Social, Branding - 2022-2024
Google Student’s social media refresh aimed to establish a playful and engaging approach to Google’s core brand. The project scope involved designing social templates for several campaigns including: Tips & Tricks, Tips from a Recruiter, Tech Jargon, and Meet the Interns.

In addition to the social media refresh, logo explorations were made for the 2022 Year in Search as well as custom Discord icons and channel banners for Google Gemini in collaboration with AKQA.

Robinhood
Social, Branding - 2023
Investing in the future: The successfully launched design refresh of Robinhood’s social media graphics aimed to build a dynamic and expansive online presence.

The campaign involved designing customized Instagram templates for various Robinhood campaigns such as: The Week Ahead, Snacks Stats, and Robinhood Trending.

Additionally, digital ads and banners were created by utilizing and editing internal-client, illustration libraries and published to Glassdoor and LinkedIn.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
 Design, Branding - 2021
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is the leading art and educational institution in the Commonwealth. Since its acquisition by the state, the VMFA has made extraordinary strides to display, acquire, and encourage the study of the arts.

The proposed rebrand focuses on the museum’s diverse and culturally relevant works of art. This project highlights its expansive collection of African American, Native American, and East Asian art. The simple and modular design allows for an efficient expansion of the branding system.
Kenneth Mejia For City Controller
Design, Branding - 2021
Inspired by the ubiquitous neon street posters of Los Angeles, the Kenneth Mejia for LA City Controller campaign draws upon their bold type and bright colors to grab your attention. The vivid colors make it both a part of the iconic Colby poster signage history in the city while maintaining its own unique image.
